Day 1Transfer

Day 2Fortress Ananuri, Kazbegi, Trinity Church (Gergeti)

The Ananuri Fortress is located 70 km from Tbilisi – where a small river Vedzathevi flows into Aragvi. Ananuri served as the main stronghold for Aragvi eristavs, rulers of this region.
The fortress is dated 16th century and for the next two centuries served as the northern outpost of the Transcaucasus defense, blocking the road leading from the Daryal canyon.
Kazbegi – the most beautiful nature in combination with the unique color of Georgian traditions and hospitality attracts a lot of people. Among tourists there are many residents of Georgia itself, but even more tourists from different countries.
The Trinity Church of Gergeti is located at an altitude of 2,170 m at the foot of Kazbegi. Built in the XIV century, the shrine is the only cross-domed temple in the area of Khevi. Near the church there is a medieval bell tower.
There is also an observation deck with an impressive view of the mountain peaks surrounding it from all sides.

Day 3-4Pshav-Khevsureti

Pshav – Khevsureti is one of the most beautiful regions of the Caucasus mountains with outstanding traditions. Here you can see ancient settlements, forests with natural lakes, beautiful gorges and the Aragvi River, which enjoys seasonal popularity among the lovers of Rafting (extreme descent along the river by boats).
Shatili is one of the unique, outstanding monuments of the Georgian building art. The village on the cliff was both a dwelling and a fortress, and it guarded Georgia’s northern approaches for centuries. The outskirts of the city continues a series of fortified houses built end-to-end to each other and created a single inaccessible wall that reliably closed the village. Shatili with the outside world connects the only narrow road through the gorge of Argun. Since October 24, 2007, Shatili has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Heritage List.
Colored Lakes of Abdelauri – Lakes of glacial origin at 2812 meters above sea level. By their natural colors, the lake got the name White, Green and Blue. There is no automobile road to the lakes, therefore it is required to pass the pedestrian way for their contemplation. The most beautiful natural monuments make the pedestrian way even more interesting.

Day 5-6-7Samtskhe-Javakheti (Borjomi, Vardzia, Rabat Castle, Abastumani)

Borjomi is a town-resort in Samtskhe-Javakheti, a region in the south-west of Georgia. The city is famous for its mineral water Borjomi, which holds the first export position in Georgia. Mineral water Borjomi is popular in the countries of the former USSR.
Vardzia is a cave monastery complex of the 12th-13th centuries in the south of Georgia, in Javakheti. An outstanding monument of medieval Georgian architecture.
The ensemble of the monastery of Vardzia was created mainly in 1156-1205, in the reign of George III and his daughter King Tamar.
For 900 m along the left bank of the Mtkvari in the sheer tuff wall of Mount Erusheti (Bear), up to 600 rooms are carved: churches, chapels, living cells, storerooms, baths, refectory, treasures, libraries. The premises of the complex go 50 meters deep into the rock and rise to a height of eight floors. Secret passages that connected the rooms, the remains of the water pipe and the irrigation system were preserved.
Rabat Fortress – Built in the XIII century, this military building has seen a lot in its time. The fortress was repeatedly destroyed, often under siege, and eventually absorbed the traces of various cultures and religions.
Today the fortress of Rabat is a true cultural and historical complex on an area of about seven hectares. The territory of the fortress is divided into the lower modern part and the upper historical one. In the lower part there are shops, a cafe, a restaurant and a hotel. The upper part includes the Ahmediyeh Mosque (XVIII century), the Orthodox Church (XIX century), the family castle of Jakeli, as well as a historical museum. The exposition of the museum represents the ancient history of South Georgia: stone products of the Neolithic age, bronze axes found in these parts, everyday objects of primitive epoch, and other artifacts. Photographing in the museum is prohibited.
Abastumani is a mountain climatic resort in the Adigeni municipality of Georgia.
In Abastumani pure mountain air, moderate dryness, there are no strong winds. On the mountain slopes – forests (pine, spruce, fir). The summer is moderately warm, the average August temperature is 16 ° C . Winters are mild, sunny, moderately snowy (the snow cover lasts from the middle of December to the middle of March); the average January temperature is -6 ° C. Precipitation falls mainly in April-October, the annual average is about 600 mm. In the year there are an average of 167 days of sunshine.

Day 8-9-10Mestia (ancient towers of Svaneti), Ushguli, Hotel

Mestia is a small town in Upper Svaneti. It is located on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus. Height above sea level is about 1500 m.
Mestia is also the center of alpine tourism and mountaineering; From here begin the ascent to the peaks of Ushba, Jangi-tau, Shkhara, etc. On December 1, 2010 a ski resort was opened here.
Ushguli, Svan community in Mestia district, is located at an altitude of 2,200 m above sea level, the village of Ushguli is considered one of the most high-mountainous permanent settlements in Europe, according to some standards of Europe.
In Ushguli live about 70 families (up to 200 people), there is a school. 6 months a year the neighborhood is covered with snow and the road to the regional center of Mestia is often blocked.
The architectural ensemble of Ushguli is a valuable architectural and historical monument, thanks in large part to which Upper Svaneti was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the village traditional Svan houses-towers were preserved. On the hill next to the village of Zhibiani is the church of Holy Mother of God (in Svanjska Lamaria), built in the XI century.

day 11Canyon Okace with the Kynchka Falls, Martvili Canyon

Okatse Canyon is situated in the village of Gordi, some 42 kilometers from Kutaisi. The length of the canyon is about 16 kilometers, its width ranges from 10 to 15 meters, and it is about 50 meters deep. Along the canyon you can find several waterfalls, one of which measures 70 meters high.
Kinchkha is a astonishing place with two waterfalls and canyon. It locates on altitude of 1000 miters and nature out there is amazing and refreshing. You can swim in canyon and make tents on the riverbank.
Martvili is located in Samegrelo region, Western Georgia, 280km from Tbilisi. The Martvili Canyon is a natural wonder. It used to be a bath place for Georgian Nobles, Dadiani family. Now it represents a touristic site. People visit it to enjoy the scenery, its waterfalls and take a boat trip in the river with deep green color. Visitors can enjoy 300-meter boat tour on river Abasha and beautiful views of mountain river canyon.
